The Beginning of Quite the Series
Dan Rather grew up in the successful family business of radio journalism, which is why all the powerful and corrupt they report on are trying to kill them. Since America fractured and fell, the Rathers have operated from an underground bunker in the Badlands, relying on donations from viewers like you to fund their anti-drone missiles and defenses that protect them from incoming explosive hate mail.
For his debut report, Dan is sneaking into Mexico City to investigate the murky world of immigration with a cunning and boisterous immigrant named Pedro. Dan plans to join Pedro’s journey through the newly formed countries, uncovering the journey of immigrants boarding obscure armored trains to California. If his report succeeds it could secure vital donations, undermine the profiteers of labor exploitation, and cement Dan’s position at the helm of his family’s business.
But Pedro has his own agenda. He’s after real money—the kind that mega unions, corporations, and regimes generate—and is willing to do whatever it takes to reach his dreams.
